This was a personal challenge. I wanted to explore responsive design and uploading content on the web using file transfer. Using responsive design to tell a story by navigating through space - expanding and contracting the webpage.
I created the visuals using Adobe Illustrator, and used google API code found online.
In the past I have used Bootstrap for coding exercises, which comes with responsive elements and themes but this was a unique opportunity because it allowed me to think about how the responsive web functions pixel by pixel.
It was also an exiting challenge to tackle because previously to this I didn't have any experience with FTP. I used Fetch to publish my files onto OCADU's webspace.
Learnings: From this exercise I learned more about HTML, hosting and building for a responsive environment. If I could do this again, I would want the illustrations to transition more smoothly, so I could add steps in between, or change the illustration so it does not change so dramatically from frame to frame.
